This past Sunday, July 14th, I was able to go see One Direction on their Take Me Home Tour!!! For those of you who were not already aware, I absolutely love 1D. I’ve had “What Makes You Beautiful” or “Back For You” set as my ringtone for the past two years. (I like to alternate between them.) Needless to say, I’m a pretty big fan of One Direction, so I was super pumped to be attending one of their concerts at last!
I purchased my tickets over a year ago and I’d been looking forward to the concert ever since. I went with my friends Emily and Marina and we had so much fun! The drive to Tinley Park was kind of insane due to everyone that was going to First Midwest Bank Amphitheater to see the concert, but we didn’t mind. On the way there we ate Portillo’s salads and had drinks from Starbucks as we blasted and sang along to One Direction music from my iPod. By the time we got to the venue we were all really excited for the concert to start
I has an absolutely fabulous time at the concert, it was amazing! We had great seats and I was able to take tons (three memory cards worth) of pretty good pictures. My favorite songs to see performed live were “I Would,” “One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks),” “Last First Kiss,” “Teenage Dirtbag,” “She’s Not Afraid,” “Kiss You,” “Little Things,” and “What Makes You Beautiful.” I can honestly say that this was one of the most fun nights of my life!

During each One Direction concert, the boys take time to answer a few questions from fans on Twitter. One girl asked “Will you do your best supermodel strut down the catwalk?” And let me tell you, Niall and Harry took this challenge very “seriously.” As I watched them strut down the catwalk (shown below) I was doubling over with laughter.
At one point, Niall put on a Blackhawks hat which was thrown at him by a fan and the crowd went absolutely crazy! It was such a classic Chicago reaction. (above)
I had an absolutely amazing night! What was the last concert you attended?
xoxo,
