During Christmas break, my family and I took a wonderful vacation to the Oregon Coast! Each day we got to travel down Highway 101 to see the various sights around the area. We got to visit Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Seaside, Tillamook, Portland, and other towns in Oregon.
Living in the Chicago area has made me very used to the city lifestyle, which I love so much. This trip took me completely out of the usual space I’m in. Traveling to various natural landmarks, visiting cute little vacation towns, trying freshly caught seafood, and seeing the different style of living in the Pacific Northwest was so refreshing and I absolutely LOVED my trip! For the next few posts I’ll be sharing some pictures from my trip. Breathtaking beaches, golden sunsets, rolling hills, rocky mountains, and glistening waves were just a few of the treats Oregon had in store for me.
Insomnia Coffee Co. was the cutest little coffee shop in Cannon Beach which made the most amazing Aztec Mochas!! My family and I went there twice during our trip because the coffee was so good!
Haystack Rock is one of the most well-known and photographed natural landmarks in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Standing at approximately 235 feet tall it is claimed to be the third largest intertidal structure in the world.
