On Wednesday, I popped into Kendra Scott on Michigan Avenue to get a look at the brand new Spring 2016 collection… and oh my goodness it is GORGEOUS!
This season, Kendra Scott’s collection was inspired by an artist named Mallory Page. The fluidity of Page’s art is quite stunning and it’s easy to see the inspiration behind the pieces when looking at her work. The Spring Collection boasts a variety of kite shaped styles, “suspended shell,” and jewelry made with amethyst and amazonite. I think the Carla earrings in amazonite are especially pretty. They remind me of a light green shade of marble!
I also really like the dichoric glass and brass pieces that were released in this collection! The Kriss bangles (shown below) are probably my favorite part of the collection and I really like the Gavin cuff as well!
Fun Fact: As a part of the company’s philosophy and mission to “give back,” Kendra Scott teamed up with the National Art Education Association for the launch day of the spring collection! A portion of proceeds from sales both in stores and online from launch day went back to NAEA.
This Harlow necklace in suspended ivory of pearl is so swoon worthy!
I love the visual opposition of this 2D sketch on the left compared to the actual 3D product on the right!
Will you be buying anything from Kendra’s Spring 2016 Collection?
