Happy Thursday, lovelies! On Tuesday I shared a recap of the first two days of my recent trip to New York and now it’s time to talk about day three, which was spent primarily on the Upper East Side, but also in Midtown and Chelsea.

We kicked off the day with brunch at Sarabeth’s at Madison and 92nd. I ordered the coconut waffle (shown above), coffee and a side of bacon. Everything was delicious and really rich in flavor!
Next came shopping. First, we stopped by the Jack Rogers store to admire the multitude of color options that my favorite sandals are available in, since I’ve been trying to pick out what color I want to get next. I’m still undecided.
After that, we headed to one of my favorite stops of the day, Lilly Pulitzer! This store is absolutely gorgeous and so well laid out. The dressing rooms are incredibly cute and the sales associates were all really attentive and helpful.
I tried on way too much a ton of stuff and ended up with two winners, an Elsa top in “Southern Charm” and the Raegan dress in “Multi Hibiscus Stroll.”

Next, we went to Ladurée to pick up some of their famous (and ridiculously delicious) macarons.
I picked out macarons in cherry blossom, Marie Antoinette, strawberry candy marshmallow, lemon, rose petal and pistachio. The cherry blossom and the strawberry candy marshmallow ones were my favorites this time around!
Up next, we headed to Kate Spade’s multilevel store, which was also on Madison Avenue.
This was the view from Kate Spade’s balcony and if you look closely in the next photo, you can see me up there!
The store was organized into separate levels for each type of product and was decorated with neon signs, fun chandeliers and more.
I finally made it to Grand Central Station during this trip! Grand Central was one of the busiest places I’ve ever seen and one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. There was so much going on, so many people and so much to look at each way you turned. The ceiling was AMAZING and it was awesome to finally see this iconic place that has been featured in countless movies and TV shows.
The primary reason that I finally ended up going to Grand Central was actually to meet up with my mom’s cousin, Anne, to catch up. She and I both share a passion for fashion and photography, but I don’t see her very often since she lives on the East Coast. It was so nice to see her and swap life updates at The Campbell Apartment.
You might recognize this location if you’re a Gossip Girl fan like myself. The Campbell Apartment was featured on numerous occasions throughout the show. It was just as cool, if not cooler, in person.
For dinner, Mary and I headed to Buddakan in Chelsea. We shared the edamame dumplings (shown below) and the cauliflower “lollipops.” I ordered the shrimp and lobster chow fun for my main course. Honestly, I think that this was my favorite place that we ate on this trip! The food was incredible and the atmosphere was awesome. I’ll definitely want to go back here next time I’m in NYC.
Thanks for following along on my day three adventures! There will be more NYC recap posts to come soon and I’ll be sharing some of my outfits from the trip as well. Keep an eye out!
