It’s bittersweet that this is my last photo diary from this summer’s trip to Europe. However, some of my favorite photos were taken in Paris, so I’m excited to finally be sharing these with all of you!
Paris was beautiful and quite a bit like I imagined. It rained our first day in the morning, but then it cleared up while we were in Notre Dame.
Notre Dame was massive and it’s a wonder to imagine the process that went into building a space like this one!
We were getting hungry, so we grabbed one of these almond meringues as a quick snack to eat while we walked. They were so sweet ( & huge) but the texture was to die for!
We came across Rue Cremieux while walking through the city and it had just rained so the tiles were all shiny. This was by far one of the prettiest streets I saw in Paris!
Arc de Triomphe
Naturally, Ladurée was a necessary stop! We visited the location on Champs Elysées and it was a major highlight for me.
In addition to being famous for their macarons, Ladurée created this amazing blush where the powder is shaped into 3D petals and it smells like roses. I got a small size of the color 02 at the Sephora on Champs Elysées and I’m obsessed with this blush. It’s seriously the. best.
The next day, we popped by the Eiffel Tower to take some outfit photos before heading to Versailles.
The Hall of Mirrors
They had a Ladurée in the gift shop area at Versailles!
The next day, we stopped by the Louvre. Let me tell you, that place is SO overwhelming but so gorgeous! I want to go back so badly and spend a ton of time looking around.
We had to pay a visit to the Mona Lisa! It was a lot smaller than I expected and I took this photo on zoom from super far away because there was a massive crowd hanging out in front of the painting.
The balcony at our hotel was super cute and I took advantage of it to do some blogging while abroad. Check out this view!
On our last night in Paris we went to go up the Eiffel Tower and see it all lit up at night. It was truly breathtaking and one of my favorite memories from this trip!
At the top!
Fun Fact: That artsy building in the middle of the park is the Louis Vuitton Foundation!
Paris, I love you and I’ll be back some day!
