It’s almost back-to-school time! I was walking near my former college campus earlier this week and I was amazed by how odd it felt… I only graduated in May, but seeing so many freshman around campus really brings it home that I won’t be going back to school tomorrow! I used to love buying back-to-school supplies and prepping for the new year. I got to do a bit of back-to-campus prep with Babbleboxx and in today’s post I’ll be sharing and reviewing all the fun goodies they sent over which are perfect for any collegiate getting ready to return to campus!
Sour Punch Share Me!® Mini Bites: I’m not gonna lie, I have a tendency to keep candy on or in my desk at all times. My freshman year I had a whole jar on my desk that was constantly fully stocked with sugary sweets! (It wasn’t the healthiest habit, but what can I say?!) I was pumped to find the two packages of Sour Punch in my Babbleboxx. I was already a fan of Sour Punch candy, and their new mini bites are great to share (or keep for yourself 😉 ). Check out more Sour Punch products here.
Luden’s Throat Drops: I lost my voice more than once or twice during college… especially around sorority recruitment! Other times I’d lose my voice due to lack of sleep combined with trying to talk with friends in loud environments like parties, bars, concerts, and sporting events. Luden’s cherry and watermelon throat lozenges are great for instances like these and they also taste so good! Save $1 off of two bags here.
Viv & Lou: Throw Blanket: One of my favorite goodies that came in the box was this super soft throw blanket from Viv & Lou! It’s such a fun print and it is SO comfy! I’d definitely say that throw blankets are essential to dorm life and I relied on them heavily throughout my four years in college. They’re perfect for snuggling up to study or to watch Netflix. This blanket can be monogrammed (for free!) when you order it online and all my readers get 25% off on the Viv and Lou site through September 30th, 2017 with the code “BowtifulLife25”. Happy Shopping!
The Princess Saves Herself in This One & The Posh: Happy Living 2017-2018 Monthly/Weekly Planner: In college I was the planner QUEEN. I had two, one for my classes and work and one for the blog. The Posh is filled with positive quotes and planning pages which makes it perfect as a collegiate planner! The book, The Princess Saves Herself in This One, is a collection of poetry in four parts: the princess, the damsel, the queen, and you. It’s focused on writing your own ending and it won the 2016 Goodreads Choice Award for Poetry! Check out the planner here and get the book here.
EZneeds: In college, grocery shopping in bulk isn’t the easiest if you don’t have a car. EZneeds is an easy and affordable alternative where you can purchase bulk groceries, office supplies, and toiletries online! You don’t need a membership and you get free 1-3 day shipping on any order over $50! I got a bulk pack of Post-it notes and a big box of my favorite Starbucks K-Cups so I’m going to fully stocked and caffienated for a long time! Shop with EZneeds here.
BIG AZ® Sandwiches: When I lived in a dorm freshman year my “kitchen” consisted of a Keurig, a mini fridge, and a microwave. Simple and easy to make food was my jam that year and BIG AZ sandwiches would have been perfect for on the go! They’re easy to heat up fast and you can find where to purchase them right here. Here’s a coupon for $1 off!
Casio A168WG-9VT Vintage Watch: I’m a stickler when it comes to punctuality. In college, it was very rare that I’d be late to class and I attribute that in large part to the fact that I always wear a watch and feel almost naked without one. This gold Casio watch has an alarm and is water resistant so it’s a solid simple and classic watch to throw on while you’re on your way to class. I’ll be honest, the look isn’t my favorite, but I tend to lean towards modern, round-faced watches rather than the more vintage, square shapes. Click here to shop this watch.
