I’m so excited to share the next in my series of Banff blog posts with all of you today! These pictures are some of my favorite from the trip because they’re a bit different from my usual outfits. They’re much more casual and the focus for me was much more on the setting vs. the outfit that I was wearing. As I mentioned in a recent Instagram, I’m not someone who’s out “roughing it” in nature very often, but I love being surrounded by the beauty of nature. Flannel, in my opinion, is one of those quintessential patterns that is associated with fall, camping, sitting around a fire, and just being outside in general. Confession: The last time I owned a flannel shirt was when I was a toddler!
– What I Wore –
Uniqlo Flannel ℅ (Exact color no longer available, similar pattern here for 30% off.) – Black Quilted Vest (20% off!) – Rose Gold & Pyrite Ear Climbers (20% off!) – J. Crew Jeans (40% off with code “THANKU”) – L.L. Bean Boots (20% off!) – Rose Gold Pinch Bracelets – David Yurman Bangle
Uniqlo was generous enough to send me this flannel shirt last year to add to my closet and it’s one of the softest shirts I own! I like wearing mine in the beginning of the fall as almost a cardigan, with a tank layered underneath. When the colder weather hits, I button it up and pair it with a puffy vest like I did for this outfit.
I wore my bean boots on this day because it was super rainy outside and they have really great traction on wet days. It actually started misting while we were shooting these pictures and then full-on raining shortly after! I own the 6″ women’s Bean Boots and I always hated tying mine each time I wore them. The laces are kind of chunky and hard to handle at times BUT, one of my blogger buds, Shannon, over at Prep Avenue put up this blog post a few years ago on how she ties her Bean Boots and I had mine tied that way ever since!
As a part of L.L. Bean’s Cyber Monday sale Bean Boots are actually 20% off! Bean Boots almost never go on sale. So, if you’ve been dying to get a pair, today is the perfect day to do so!
