In Chicago, winter weather is pretty much all over the place. One day it’s 40 degrees, the next day it’s below zero. You never really know what’s coming next! With these crazy, ever-changing temps, one of my go-to outfits in the fall and winter is a big, comfy sweater, jeans, and boots or booties. You can make it cozier by adding a big scarf and hat, or you can prep for warmer weather by wearing a shirt sleeved tee under your sweater for if you get too toasty. I like sweaters that have some more character to them, like this fun colorblocked one from Asilio, because they make an outfit feel more complete!
– What I Wore –
Asilio Colorblock Sweater (Similar styles here & here) – My go-to, black Hudson Jeans – Kendra Scott Pendant – Steve Madden Over-the-Knee Boots (On sale right now for under $80!) – Pyrite Ring Set – Dainty Pave Necklace – David Yurman Cuff – Mulberry Alexa Bag
This sweater has SO much going on, but it still works because all the colors are within the black and white family. It adds some extra character while still being on the casual and easy side.
I’ve talked about these boots before, but let me just say again… I love these boots so much! Are they the comfiest all the time? No, but I can handle them for a pretty lengthy amount of time without my feet hurting or getting tired, which is surprising given the fact that these are almost four inch heels!
This bag by Mulberry is one of my absolute favorite purses I own. Sadly, they don’t make it anymore, but there are still a ton floating around second hand on various luxury retail sites. I got mine as a gift a few years ago and it’s been a staple bag in my wardrobe ever since!
