Candles are always a go-to gift for me and this Joy Candle from HIVE Luxury Fragrances is one of my favorites right now! It reminds me of champagne and has warm notes that will make you feel like you’re wrapped in a warm hug every time you light it in a room. I got to attend HIVE’s launch event this fall and the whole concept behind their brand is super cool! They’ll have a physical location in Chicago some time in 2018, so be on the lookout for them! The next gift I’m loving for hostesses this season is this filigree frame from Kendra Scott! Especially if you’re going over to a friend’s for the holiday this is a great choice because you can bring the frame without a picture in it and then take a photo together that day so you both will always have that memory. (You could even send a physical print of the photo with a thank you card after the fact!)
If you’ve ever seen photos of the inside of my apartment, then you already know that I love Gray Malin. I have two of his prints in my room and he is without a doubt one of my favorite photographers. He came out with a new coffee table book and this is another great choice for any friends who love colorful photography and coffee table books.
As a big fan of mugs and tea sets, I think these next two gifts are great for anyone who loves to sit down with a warm cup of coffee or tea. Plus, this modern take on a classic blue china pattern is gorgeous.
Is your host a major wino? This wine rack is sure to be a big hit and a great way for them to display what they have “in house” for future dinner parties. Alternatively, this monogrammed stopper would be a great choice if you’re bringing over a bottle of wine for the evening.
Maybe your host is the queen (or king) of holiday pastries. These cute little measuring cups are functional and also incredibly adorable so they can be kept on the counter when they’re not in use!
Last but not least, these matches are a cute and decorative way to hold a very ordinary and everyday item, plus I love the quote it features. “It’s better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.”
What’s your go-to hostess gift?
