Typically, I tend to prefer blush and pastel toned looks for special occasions during the warmer months which is why I went with a light coral for my look. I paired some strappy, nude heels, a long wallet (used as a clutch), and simple jewelry with this dress to keep it as the star of the outfit. Pleated skirts like this one are always fun for special occasions where there’s going to be dancing, because who doesn’t love a twirly dress?! 😉
On a side note, these pictures were shot on my alma mater’s campus, right outside of our gorgeous chapel, Madonna Della Strada. Madonna was just included as one of Chicago’s top 10 “hidden gems” in the Chicago Tribune’s recent roundup up “secret Chicago” spots.
