2018 Holiday Gift Guide
When shopping for close friends, you know you’re giving a great gift when you want to keep it for yourself! I own a bunch of these items and I think they’d all make great gifts for your bffs! Three of my faves: I’ve burned through multiple candles in this scent, this was my go-to necklace for months and I use my steamer at least once a week!
Guys can be hard to shop for, but if you know what they need or don’t have, it’s easier! For example, I bought my boyfriend this wallet for his birthday after realizing how old his previous wallet was and it was a hit! Another idea: if your guy doesn’t already have a favorite cologne, a sampler is a great gift so he can figure out what scents he (and you) like best before committing to a full size bottle.
When I worked in retail I’d joke with customers that when you’re shopping for gifts it often turns into “one for you, one for me!” When I’m shopping around the holidays I often come across goodies that I love and want for myself! I can personally recommend this bar cart, these shearling slippers, this coat (I’m wearing it in red at the top of this blog post!), and these wireless earphones.
When it comes to my wish list this year, I’m loving this initial necklace, this cozy cardigan, this sparkly bracelet, this bag, and these booties. (Did you get all that, Santa? 😉 )
These gifts are great for your holiday hostess, your mom, your friends that are domestically inclined, and more! I’d especially recommend my favorite wine glasses, this cutting board that can double as a charcuterie board, and this cult-favorite candle.
Everyone’s got that one friend who always looks like they “woke up like this.” I absolutely love this blush/highlighter palette, this fragrance (It’s my go-to!), and this silk pillowcase which is great for your skin and hair! One note: if you’re shopping for someone you don’t know well, steer clear of products that aren’t universal! Not everyone is going to like the same scents or colors as you. In these cases gift sets like this one and this one are a great fit!
Every year I end up needing at least one last minute gift for a grab bag or Secret Santa. I tend to gift mugs on these occasions because they’re not too expensive and everyone can use them. Alternatively, fun notebooks and tech accessories also go over well. I also don’t know anyone who doesn’t like fuzzy socks!
Desk accessories make a great gift for coworkers! I especially love this felt board, charging hub, and tech case! These are all items that someone can use daily, but they aren’t “too” personal.
