Happy Friday, friends! Time for a new Friday Five post!
1. Thomas Rhett – “To The Guys That Date My Girls”
I went to the Thomas Rhett Very Hot Summer concert here in Chicago a few weeks back and it was seriously incredible! My friend Margot and I bought the tickets on my birthday back in April and it was worth the wait! He played some unreleased music, including one called “To The Guys That Date My Girls” and it had me ALL in my feels. I recorded the whole song and keep listening to it over and over because it’s so cute. You can check that song out on my IG TV and other stories from the concert under my “Music” highlight on my profile!
2. Level Up
I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching recently and this quote rings so true to me. I have so many badass, talented, and driven people in my life. They constantly inspire me to do better, be better and constantly challenge myself. For this, I am beyond grateful.
3. Basic Invite
Shoutout to Basic Invite for sponsoring this week’s Friday Five post! It’s the end of September… So, as crazy as it is to think about, the holidays are right around the corner! This year I decided that I want to send out holiday cards to some of my fellow blogger buds and partners that I work with! Basic invite has a bunch of different options when it comes to cards and they’re all super easy to personalize. They have almost unlimited color options! So, I was able to get mine in Bowtiful Life’s signature pink shade! I was debating between doing holiday stationery (like the one I ultimately went with), some photo Christmas cards with a cute holiday shot, and also looking at some options with foil.
My stationery got to me in under a week, but you can also order a printed sample before you put in your final order! I’ve had things printed so many times that are pixelated or the wrong color, so this option is definitely helpful! If you’re looking to get cute holiday cards, or stationery in general, Basic Invite is offering 15% off right with the coupon code: 15FF51
4. In Search of… Chicago Salon Recommendations!
A little random but… Chicago friends! My wonderful hair gal has moved out of state so I’m in need of salon and stylist recommendations! Please send them my way, because I seriously need a trim.
5. It’s Almost Cocoon Coat Season
I LOVE my cocoon coat and it’s almost time for me to break it out again! This is pretty much the only coat I wear all fall and winter, except when it’s ridiculously cold out. Cocoon coats are back again this year in the classic colors, plus some new ones! Check out my full review and thoughts here.
