Fall is here! I just finished transitioning my closet to colder weather clothing and in the process I also rearranged my shoes. Booties are my go-to choice of footwear when fall rolls around, so I thought I’d share four of my current favorite pairs for fall with you!
Three of these pairs are pretty much identical (if not exact) to what I own. However, one of them is a slightly different style from the same brand and the other is a “dupe” if you will since mine are no longer available. So, onto the booties!
Cognac Nubuck Booties
Blondo brand booties are some of my favorites! The quality is fantastic and pretty much all of the shoes they make are waterproof. (This is a huge plus in Chicago with all of the weird in-between season weather we get.) I got these booties during the 2018 Anniversary Sale and I’ve worn them a TON since then! The “Noa” style that I’ve linked is almost identical to the “Nova” ones I have. The “Noa” booties have a 2.5″ heel and are zippered on the side, so they’re easy to take on and off. On Nordstrom’s website, they suggest buying half a size up in this style, however the pair that I own I bough in my usual size.
Blush Suede Chelsea Boots
The Jack Rogers team sent these booties after a recent collab and I love them so far! They’re a pretty blush suede and I haven’t tested them out like this yet, but they’re also supposed to be waterproof! As mentioned when discussing the Blondo booties I have, waterproof is a major plus for me when it comes to footwear. The official color name for these booties is “taupe” but they definitely look more blush in person. These ‘Poppy” booties have a 1.4″ high heel and are pull on style. They’re pretty easy to put on and I’m a big fan of the stitched detailing around the ankle! In my experience, they run true to size.
Snake Print Booties
I got my snake booties from my aunt for Christmas about two and a half years ago and I’ve worn them like CRAZY! (I honestly need a new pair, because the toes don’t have much more life in them!) The ones that I own are the “Brooke” style by Tory Burch, but unfortunately they’re not made anymore. This pair from Tony Bianco is not exact, but it’s one of the most similar styles I’ve found over the last few years. These have a side zip closure and the heel is about 3.”
I never expected that I’d wear my snake booties as much as I have, but they’re a great statement piece without being too wild. The neutral pattern allows for mixing with multiple colors and I’ve styled mine both casually, like in this blog post, and with more of a fancier vibe. They dress up quite nicely with dresses and skirts!
Black Chelsea Boots
These are the latest addition to my shoe collection! I snagged these black chelsea boots from Target recently while I was ordering some things for my apartment. (Quite honestly, I needed to hit a minimum to ship some of the things I needed… Whoopsies!) These boots are under $30 and pull-on style with a 2″ heel. They’re are a great neutral and I’ve already worn them three times since getting them in the mail last week! I was honestly expecting to have a hard time breaking them in, but they ended up being quite comfy from the get-go! I wore them to a pumpkin patch last week and have also worn them on a few walks with no real discomfort. Highly recommend if you’re in need of a new pair of basic black booties!
