Hey loves, I hope that you’re having a wonderful week! It’s been a bit since I updated my everyday makeup favorites and I have quite a few new favorites as well as some returning faves this time around. I tend to lean on the natural and neutral side when doing my makeup, so nothing in here is too too crazy. These are all the products that I’ve been reaching for consistently over the last 6+ months and keep in my everyday makeup bag.
Fall/Winter 2020 Everyday Makeup Favorites
Tarte Shape Tape in 27S (light-med sand) & 12N (fair neutral) ℅
This is my favorite concealer yet and it lasts for quite a while (both when it comes to product life and wear wise). I wear the 12N fair neutral shade on a normal basis and 27S light-med sand shade whenever I’m self-tanning. This stuff is FULL coverage and doesn’t crease over time. Will definitely be repurchasing.
NYX Studio Finishing Powder Translucent Finish
I’ve been using this powder for AGES and a little goes a long way. It’s definitely more of a finishing powder than a setting powder. I highly recommend buffing this out well when using it to avoid any flashback
Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer in “Park Ave Princess” ℅
I love the fact that this bronzer has some shimmer to it as well as a slight cocoa scent. It feels super light and blends really well! One thing to be aware of, this is definitely a product that’s easy to go overboard on. Use a light hand when applying and you’ll love it too!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo in “Soft Brown”
This is another product that I’ve been using for years! I like to use the darker shade of the duo for the general outline of my brows and the lighter color to fill them in.
e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara
With this product you really get the bang for your buck (only $2). It’s double sided (basically the same product) and one of these wands lasts me for ages. I only use it as an eyebrow gel and probably wouldn’t recommend it as a clear mascara because it seems like it would be too heavy for on lashes, but that’s just me!
Pixi Eye Reflections Reflex Light Shadow Palette ℅
The 3rd color in the first column is one of my current favorites as a lid color! I like to wear this shade when I use my bronzer for the crease and am just throwing together a quick look. It’s a rosy copper hue and I love it!
Tarte Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner ℅
I used to swear by Stila’s felt tip liner, but this Tarte one has surpassed that now! I honestly only use the liquid side, so I can’t speak to the pen/kohl side. But this felt-tipped liquid liner doesn’t flake at all like the Stila one would occasionally and it’s long-wearing. I’m actually considering purchasing it in brown as well. HIGHLY recommend!
L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer
I’ve noticed a huge difference in how my lashes have been since I started using this product. My lashes look fuller with mascara on and they hold onto the product way better so I don’t get flakes of mascara in my eyes throughout the day.
Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara
This mascara… I was super skeptical when ordering it since it’s only $5. However, I’d heard so many bloggers rave about this product so I figured it was worth trying. It did NOT disappoint! I haven’t had issues with this running or smudging at all, it doesn’t get super chunky and it really adds a false lash effect. 10/10!
Flesh Beauty Touch Flesh Highlighting Balm in “Pinky”
I use this as a base highlight and blend it out along my cheekbones, bridge of my nose and cupid’s bow. I top/set it with just a little bit of powder highlight as well.
Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact in “Highlight 01 – Golden Nude”
I’ve had this highlighter for a while now and I go in and out of using it. It’s a nice constant and I tend to grab this one over the Layers Palette on days where I’m going for a more natural look. I’ll also use this highlight as a lid color occasionally because it’s more of a gold reflect than a white reflect.
Pixi + Rachh Loves – Layers Highlighter Palette ℅
I use the “Lace” color almost every day, but will occasionally dip into “Clutch.” I like to use “Lace” for the inner corners of my eyes as well.
NARS Blush in “Torrid”
Another long-term fave! I like this shade better than the NARS cult-classic “Orgasm” shade because it’s not quite as sparkly and it has more of a coral tone to it. I have hazel eyes, so corals bring out the green more than your usual pink.
Tarte Shape Tape Stay Spray Vegan Setting Spray ℅
I’m not super picky on setting sprays in general, but I LOVE the scent on this one which is why it’s my current fave!
I hope that you have a wonderful rest of your day! I’d love to know what products you’re loving right now and if you decide to try out any of my faves.
