Hey lovelies, happy March! (Quick heads up that today’s post is for readers who are 21 & up.) In honor of National Peanut Butter Lovers Day, I’m partnering with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey to share a new Bowtiful Bartender cocktail with all of you!
*Please note that today’s post is sponsored by Skrewball. As always, all opinions and thoughts are my own!
Skrewball is a Peanut Butter Whiskey and it’s actually one of my favorite spirits! It’s great as a shot, mixed into a cocktail, or on the rocks. Skrewball is distilled in San Diego and represents the black sheep, misfits and Skrewballs of the world. Their mission (along with making delicious peanut butter whiskey) is to remind the black sheep of the world to be themselves and not be afraid to “get a little nutty!”
At one of my favorite bars by my old apartment, I’d regularly order Skrewball and Bailey’s on the rocks when drinking there with friends. That combination plus my love of White Russians is what inspired today’s cocktail!
Ingredients
1.5 oz Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey
1 oz. Bailey’s Irish Cream
4 oz cold frothed half and half
a frother – I prefer the Nespresso one because you can froth both warm and cold temperatures, but the wands work well too!
a glass
How-To
- Combine the Skrewball and Bailey’s into your glass. Make sure both are chilled ahead of time to keep the drink cold, or add a little ice if you’re using room temperature spirits.
- Pour 4 oz. of half and half into your frother or into a glass if you’re using a frothing wand. I’d recommend frothing until the half and half has a nice, fluffy layer of foam on top. This usually takes between 30 and 60 seconds.
- Top the Skrewball and Bailey’s with the frothed half and half
- Enjoy!
I hope that you all enjoyed this installment of Bowtiful Bartender and let me know what you think if you try this cocktail out for yourself! As always, please drink responsibly.
