Hey friends and happy Tuesday! It’s a been a minute. The last month or so has been a bit wild over here! Chicago “reopened” earlier this month to almost 100% normal again for the first time since pre-COVID and I’ve been soaking up every minute. It’s amazing to see the city come back to life and it’s so nice to be socially booked up again. Work and some personal things have also kept me a bit busier lately.
I didn’t end up posting a playlist last month and I honestly really missed the process of putting one together. It’s always fun to look back at these playlists and have such strong memories attached to the songs in relation to what was going on in my life at the time. Last month was the very first time I haven’t published a monthly playlist since I started sharing these back in January of 2013! That said, today, I’m excited to be sharing my June ’21 Playlist with all of you.
When it comes to favorites this time around, “Leave Her Wild” by Tyler Rich has been a favorite of mine for a while now, but I’ve been playing it a lot lately. “Better Than This” by Evie Irie and “Throw It Back” by Keith Urban and BRELAND have both been go-to summer jams for me. And of course, I had to include “good 4 u” by Olivia Rodrigo since it’s so popular right now. (It’s also a bop!) I hope that you enjoy this month’s playlist!
