My weekend was quite busy, but it was certainly full of lots of holiday cheer! My family continued one of our favorite holiday traditions... we went to Christkindlmarket! Our day started off with a production of "A Christmas Carol" that was wonderful. I also really loved the architecture of the theater we went to. The decor was all very lavish and glamorous with stunning chandeliers, painted ceilings, and a huge Christmas tree (which matched my outfit)! We went out to dinner after …

Making Connections
This past weekend Gabbi, one of my fellow Smart Girls, and I met up for a little shopping at one of our local malls. The weather was amazing for December and it really felt much more like May. It was so cool to connect with another girl from SGG who has so many interests similar to mine. I can't tell you how many times we would reach for the same thing or say "That's on my Pinterest!" about an item during our shopping trip. Some of our common interests include that we both write for SGG, we …
No I’m Not Lucky, I’m Blessed
Happy post-Thanksgiving everyone! This last week has been somewhat busy for me, as usual, but even more so because I've been making up missed work from going on Kairos, finishing up the last of my college apps, prepping for Thanksgiving, and so on. Now that I've finally gotten to slow down for more than a few minutes, I've been able to think more about the massive number of things I'm grateful for! I am so thankful for my loving family, my absolutely fantastic friends, my comfortable life, and …
Lovely Lilly
If you've been following my blog long enough, then you're probably well aware of the fact that I absolutely love Lilly Pulitzer! While visiting Shelby in Florida last week I was finally able go to one of the official stores. We visited the Lilly Pulitzer in Winter Park, FL on Park Ave. My experience was comparable to that of a kid in a candy store. It was amazing to be surrounded by wall-to-wall Lilly prints and products and it was honestly a miracle that I restrained myself to only …
Make the Most of the Night – Hoco 2012
I had a fabulous time this year at homecoming dancing, taking pictures, and socializing with my friends and classmates. The group I went with included some of my closest friends so it was a really great time! We did pictures and dinner beforehand and then went to the dance which was way more fun this year because more people were actually dancing. They had jungle themed decorations and some pretty cool lighting that made it look like there were shadows of trees all along the walls of our gym. …
Spirit Week
Happy Friday and happy October everyone! It's Spirit Week at my school and tomorrow night is our Homecoming dance. For Spirit Week our theme was jungle/safari. We've had crazy hair day, karaoke, safari dress-up day, movie day (they played Lion King), spirit shirt day, pep rally, and deck out day. I love Spirit Week each year and it's one of those bittersweet senior moments when I realize that this is my last one. As for Homecoming tomorrow night, I'm so excited to see everyone looking sharp …
Lakeshore for Labor Day
Happy Labor Day! (Better late than never, right?)I was lucky to have a four day weekend last week thanks to Labor Day as well as a special football tournament our school was participating in.... in Ireland! As a result of the tournament, a huge portion of our school was in Dublin for the weekend. The Varsity football team, Varsity Poms (my girls ♥), golf, cheer, staff, parents, and lots of alumni flew over. I've heard from everyone who went that they had a wonderful time. It's clear …
Some Nights
Believe it or not, I've made it through almost two full weeks of my senior year in one piece. Everything is already flying by at such a fast rate! I'm currently going through the process of narrowing down my list of schools and deciding where I'll be applying this fall for college next year! I know I want to go into communications and then apply the degree I get to a job within the fashion industry. I might want to work with a brand in regard to PR or work with journalism for a fashion magazine. …
Spread Your Wings My Little Butterfly
I absolutely love the color combination of the pink, black, and white, but I'm particularly in love with this outfit for a different reason. I already had each of these pieces in my wardrobe! I simply took them and combined them into a brand new outfit for a friend's birthday party last weekend rather than going out to buy a whole new outfit for a single event.I feel that so many of us (yes, me included) have the tendency to think, "I can't wear that again! I just wore it for __(fill in the …
Ahdorably Made Bows
This week I had the wonderful surprise of receiving a package in the mail from my dear friends Shelby & Bailey containing one of their super cute Ahdorably Made bows! When I visited the Botanic Gardens the next day, I decided to pair my cute new bow with this shirt from Forever 21 and my favorite Kate Spade bow ring. I think that the bow really pulls the outfit together and adds to the bow theme nicely. I'm so very happy with my bow! The ribbon is great quality and the french clip …
